| Question 1 |
How much will a Kitchen/Bath remodel cost me? |
| |
Every project has many variables that greatly influence the cost of the project. The best approach is to set a budget, maintain some flexibility, expect things to cost more and take longer. A quality designer can help set a reasonable budget and can work to provide what a customer wants within the budget. | Question 2 |
How does the process work? |
| |
The first step is to take accurate measurements, work on a design, finalize the design, order cabinets, schedule the project, and follow-up on final details. For more information on this subject see our planning document entitled "Surviving a Remodel". (a link to this document will be installed soon - sorry for the inconvenience) |

| Question 3 |
How long does it take? |
| |
Unfortunately, in the real world, a Kitchen/Bath remodel is not a 22 minute with commercials timeline. Generally, the design process can take up to two weeks, cabinet lead time up to 6 weeks, demo and install can be a week or more, countertop fabrication up to two weeks, and final installation another week. The entire project can take more than 3 months, with an unusable disruptive project area of 3-4 weeks. |
